Managing DNS records

Create, edit and review DNS records through a controlled workflow.

Once a provider has full access, you can manage its DNS records in ZentraLink with validation and a clear history.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Open a DNS zone

Pick a domain and open its DNS zone to see all current records.

  2. 2

    Create or edit a record

Add or change a record — ZentraLink validates A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS and CAA entries as you type.

  3. 3

    Review before saving

Check the per-record difference so you know exactly what will change.

  4. 4

    Apply the change

Save the change; a snapshot is captured first and the change is written to the audit log.

Tip: Reusable DNS templates let you apply a known-good set of records to many domains at once.
